Your involvement with the school and your child's education
is an important component of success for all of us.

We appreciate those of you who have joined the LEE PTO.
The PTO does a wonderful job of supporting our students and teachers.

S.A.I.S.D. 2010 Grading Procedures
1. Teachers will record the actual grade a student makes into Gradespeed. If a student's grade is below a 50 for the six weeks, the teacher MAY raise the grade to a 50.

2. The Semester test will count 1/7th of the  semester grade average. This is pre-set by the technology department on Gradespeed. (This does not apply to 6th grade students)

3. Grading Procedures:
Major Grades (50%)*- minumum number of grades (3)
  include tests, projects, research papers, oral presentations, PowerPoints, comprehensive labs
Minor Grades (50%)*- minumum number of grades (7)
  include homework, class work, reviews, quizzes, reports, minor projects, folders, labs, and
  participation

Unannounced Quizzes (pop quizzes) are prohibited.
