Pre-Kindergarten Start and Release Times

San Angelo Independent School District strives to provide the highest quality Pre-Kindergarten program for our students. In an effort to maximize instructional time and opportunity, Pre-Kindergarten classes will begin at 7:35 am and dismiss at 3:00 pm.

Registration for Pre-Kindergarten will be on August 5-14, 2019, from 8:00 am to 11:30 am and from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at your assigned campus. Please visit the SAISD website for more information about the SAISD Pre-Kindergarten program.

El Distrito Escolar Independiente de San Angelo se esfuerza para tener un programa de pre-kinder de más alta calidad. En un esfuerzo para maximar el tiempo de instrucciόn, las clases de pre-kinder comenzarán a las 7:35 de la mañana y se terminarán a las 3 de la tarde.

Registraciόn para pre-kinder se llevara acabo desde el 5 de agosto hasta el 14 de agosto de 2019 de las 8 de la mañana hasta las 11:30 y de la 1:30 de la tarde hasta las 4 en su escuela primaria. 	Lamar Accountability

House Bill 2804 has added new requirements under the redesigned Accountability System. The following categories will count for 10% of the Campus Accountability rating system. The areas of focus for Lamar Elementary are Wellness and Physical Education, Community and Parental Involvement and Educational Programs for GT Students.

	Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times & Locations

Morning Drop-Off:

Parent drive-thru/walk-in beginning at 7:00. If it is before 7:35 students must go to the cafeteria until dismissed for class.

East End (near the gym) 3rd - 5th grade drop-off

West End (near Southwest Blvd.) K - 2nd grade drop-off. The parking lot on this side is for Staff Only.

There is no drop-off in the front of the building.

Afternoon Pick-Up:

Parent pick-up through drive-thru: We are requesting that you stay in your cars and get in the line. Please have your color coded card with your child's name on it visible on your dash or visor.

- West End (near Southwest Blvd.) - K - 1st Pickup - Exit and TURN RIGHT on School House Dr. towards Southwest Bvld.

*Family pickup location based on the youngest student. Older students will be sent to younger students' pickup locations.*

- East End (near the gym) - 2nd -5th Pickup - Once exiting the Parent Pick-Up lane, you must TURN LEFT on School House Drive. We thank you as we work together to make the parent pick-up process more safe, efficient, and timely.
